We are an East Texas flower farm growing fresh-cut blooms for local florists, the Rose City Farmers’ Market in Tyler, and special events. Depending on the season, we may be tending anything from achillea to zinnias. We have a particular soft spot for sweet peas, and cultivate them along a broad trellis on the north side of one of the gardens. Follow the links below to browse a list of the nearly eighty flowers, fillers, grasses, and ornamentals typically grown throughout the year.
Our shifting inventory reflects an exploratory approach to growing flowers in East Texas, utilizing both open field gardens and greenhouses to maximize the range of flowers available through the seasons. While many flowers do love lots of sun, some species just won’t survive the intense heat of our Texas summers. We are able to grow many of these plants in an unheated hoophouse during our mild winter months.
Although not certified, we employ natural and organic farming methods, reflecting our holistic approach to keeping this land sustainable. Read more about our growing practices and contact us to find out what’s in the garden right now.
